Description

When I was young, there was an aunt staying with us that really like this TV show starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman. I didn't really have a choice but to watch it when she wanted to watch that channel.

I didn't mind it but never got into the show. I saw the comic at the LCS and did not read it. However, when I saw this issue 1 cover for sale, it did bring up those memories. I thought it was fun so I bought it.

The art is also by a then unknown (now superstar) Mike Deodato!

I have close to the same story. This show was my favorite of my mom's, and I thought about grabbing the cover as a novelty. Glad you snagged it!

It would be the equivalent to the fantasy romance shows we see in the CW and has a cult following of aunties around the world. One of the reasons Perlman would be a great fit for Hellboy was his ability to act under the makeup. This has a romance paperback look to it with the Beast having a long Fabio like mane and Linda Hamilton representing every attention starved housewife.
