Harlan's blood damages the dungeon's living walls. But for the big finish, all the previously slain enemies rise again:

yep its that time in the videogame where you gotta sustain yourself through the flurry of enemies which are going to endlessly come at you until you find a way to locate and take down the big bad boss otherwise you'll never clear the level!
