DescriptionOK, Rom isn't really a zombie here but close! This is a recap page of the events that occurred in Rom #43. The melodrama of Starshine (Brandy Clark) believe she had killed Rom due to a switcheroo in the previous issue is such comic book soap opera goodness - especially when followed by the realization that she didn't kill him, but he's actually dying anyway. #43 and #44 was some great storytelling by Mantlo where Rom is tempted from his mission and is, temporarily, able to recover his humanity. This momentary lapse had long-lasting echoes in the rest of the series. This is also the first Rom page I've added that was inked by Aikin and Garvey and I think their moody finishes over Sal's layouts match the feeling of the issues really well. Social/Sharing |

Rom Zombie page!!! noiiiice. This is an awesome and certainly unique ROM page, and that inking pair compliment Sal's pencils very nicely to your point. Great pickup!

I thought it was Rob Zombie. A nice horror tinged page that turns Sal's art towards DC horror more than Marvel superhero by the inkers.

Inks are by Ian Akin and Brian Garvey (not Ron Garney ;), still both did a terrific job to embellish Sal's work, great recap page, congrats !
