Description
I’m a late-comer to J. Gonzo’s work but fell in love with his wildly unique style very quickly. He also works on a massive 18” x 24” size to fold in all those fine details and stippling. There’s so much to love and study about the artistry behind this piece and how he effortlessly creates gradients through patterns.

Big fan of J and always psyched to see new cover work from him!

Shoutout to Ed for preaching the gospel of Gonzo :)

Gorgeous piece from J.

He's always got a unique take on a character and I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of his on on CAF this year.

Size, composition, execution - must be an absolute knockout in person! 🥊

Listen as the Gonzo
From across the greatest size
Voices trapped in yearning
Memories trapped in line

Moon Knight is my companion
And old Khonshu's my guide
Would I send Eranga here
And got him satisfied

And I would be the one
To point you down
Fist you so hard
Ink takes your breath away
And cover art
Wipes away the tears
Just close your thighs dear

he blends all these cool techniques together but doesn't try to squeeze them in everywhere, giving each their own space on the canvas to be showcased properly within a clean layout of lines. really striking stuff, didn't realize he was working that large of canvas, even more impressive/cool. great pickup!

Insane amount of detail plus outstanding composition equals certified Khonshu banger! This is one of the best pieces I have seen from J. Gonzo and it makes for a wonderful cover.

Crazy cool variant cover to Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu! I love this artwork by J. Gonzo. I don't think I've seen his work before, but it's very intriguing. This image of Khonshu is a little like an X-Ray of a mummy only the Mummy has a large cow skull instead of a ribcage and the face of the Mummy appears to be staring back at us. Then there's the whole framework around the figure which looks like the marquee of a movie theatre, complete with searchlights. Very mystical-looking cover. But I like it a lot. Great pick-up, congrats!
