Description
Here's another figure study from a famous Frazetta painting Jeff did for me back in the 90s. Love how he reinterprets the image in his own style, while still capturing the structure and beauty of the original.

Generations of outstanding artists have studied the approach to figure drawing pioneered by Frank Reilly at the Art Students League in the early 20th Century. Jeff Watts carries on this tradition, and he has produced my favorite life drawings of all time. Jeff is a great friend who has taught hundreds (thousands?) of artists in all aspects of traditional drawing and painting at his Atelier in the San Diego area, and he and his fellow instructors have generated an enormous trove of virtual course material. So if you want to improve your drawing and painting skills, check out his online courses and/or make a pilgrimage to his Atelier.

Thanks for taking a look!

Even 30 years ago, I was not in heroic shape...
