DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11.5x14.25" & 7.5x11.5" artboard trio has pen and ink w/inkwash original art for The MAD Jock Book, published in 1983. Art is by MAD legend Jack Davis (1924-2016) and first is from "Mother Goose for Jocks" section. First is single page board title page for section w/pasted up text stat for page 29. Next is pair featuring joggers on pages 42-45 done in the style of "10 Little Indians" and counting for to one w/each joggers having a mishap. All pasted stats have evenly aged. Davis has signed at bottom of each spread page in black felt tip pen. Art remains clean and Exc. Great example of classic Jack Davis MAD original art. Social/Sharing |
