Art is by MAD legend Jack Davis (1924-2016) and first is two-page spread for "Shakespeare On Jocks" section of the book, showing two sport-related panels, on page 122 entitled "Blitzing The Quarterback" w/a player for the Giants jumping on a Packers quarterback and single panel on page 123 "Blocking a Tackler" w/Dolphins player taking a hit from a nondescript tackler. Each strip has pasted title and word balloons that feature oddly apropos Shakespeare quotes. Next is from "Mother Goose for Jocks" section. "Twinkle, Twinkle Football Star" w/fictitious football teams fighting on the field. page 38/39 spread. All pasted stats have evenly aged. Davis has signed at bottom of each page in black felt tip pen. Art remains clean and Exc. Great example of classic Jack Davis MAD original art.
