"Los Luchadores Del Espacio," or The Space Fighters, was a long-running series of paperback sci-fi novellas published in Spain by Editorial Valenciana every 15 days during 1953-1963. A total of 234 novels were published, and this lot features mixed media original art for the cover to No. 21, published in 1953, the first year of publication. Thin artboard measures 6-7/8x9-3/8" and features mixed media original art depicting large alien creature advancing on his fellow creatures, who are being fired upon by a spaceship in the sky. Title is applied cut out that has been hand-painted/lettered. "Colecci�n Luchadores Del Espacio" title stat pasted at bottom right. Left margin has hand-painted story title and "Alf Regaldie" name. Some lt. corner tip wear but Exc. overall. Comes w/reading copy of the novella this cover art was created for.
