Description

This is the final splash page from Budd Root’s comic Cavewoman Pangaean Sea #9. As Budd puts in his dedication, this homage was accomplished with great love and respect for Lugosi and the horror genre. Budd pours his heart into the details of this drawing; the bones in the graveyard; the mushrooms, plants, rocks and trees; the linework, shading and lettering; and of course the figures of Dracula and Cavewoman. Signed by Budd.

A great full nude of Meriem complete with shading for tan lines. The mountain mists are the perfect segue for the Bela Dracula image to appear.

Very cool piece. Budd is amazing on the Universal Monsters.... and Meriem doesnt look very bad either. Congrats!
