I'm looking through you, where did you go?
I thought I knew you, just audio?
You don't look different, but you've been taped
I'm looking through you, you're not the same
Mortimer's grooving, it's all I hear
Your voice is soothing, but the words aren't clear
You don't sound different, it'll glitch again
I'm looking through you, tell me more Dave
Why, tell me why, did you not treat me right?
Lines have a Vinny habit of disappearing overnight
really nice detailing in clothing, hair, and facial expressions on this page by Mortimer with some solid Colletta inking
This Mortimer page is a fantastic example of the classic storytelling style of the early '80s. Linda’s struggle with her newfound intangibility is perfectly captured in the artwork, with the tension of not knowing who’s targeting her really coming through. Mortimer’s lines convey the uncertainty and urgency of the situation, making it a great moment in Supergirl’s story. But best of all, and something you will rarely hear anyone in this hobby say, Colletta's inks here are GREAT!
