Description
15" x 10" image area. Ink and graphite on Bristol board. Tomb of Dracula #31 Page 31 original art (Marvel 1977). Gene Colan and Tom Palmer.

Quincy Harker speaks over a radio announcing that he has the files that can lead to Dracula's death and that he's been listening in the whole time and order Chelm to kill Dracula. Finding it amusing that his old foe has the means to kill him, Dracula then smashes out the window, changing into bat form he flies off into the night with the intent on paying his old foe a visit.

Another wonderful transformation page!

Dracula’s transformation is handled so well here! Really dynamic panel work, and the mist effect adds to the eerie atmosphere. Definitely a standout transformation page!

Great setup with this page serving as the cliffhanger to hook us in!  The evil Dracula face transforming with those mists into a bat is terrifying and dark with Palmer's inks enhancing Colan's staging and atmosphere.
