Ron Frenz is at the top of my personal list for nostalgic artists. This is just a really striking cover, with Thor drawn the Marvel Way!

the Anniversary man strikes again! hard to believe Thor hit that milestone 36 years ago. an amazing Frenz cover, and it's cool to see it also without the stats/trade dress in the added images. congrats!

Ron Frenz’s Thor #400 cover is a powerhouse tribute to the God of Thunder, perfectly capturing the energy and grandeur of this milestone issue. The bold, full-figure shot of Thor rallying "For Asgard!" makes it easy to see why this would be a must-have piece for anyone!

Epic cover for the 400th issue of Thor by Ron Frenz! I always loved reading this comic for its outsized emotions and larger-than-life language. Everything in Thor was life-or-death, valor-or-cowardice, honor-or-death. This 400th issue really reflects that with Thor wielding his hammer and shouting out: "For Asgard!" Even the title uses outsized language: "God vs God in the greatest battle of all time!" Wonderful stuff. Ron Frenz did a stellar job on this cover, drawing Thor with the same kind of god-like look as John Buscema and Jack Kirby did before him. And Brett Breeding really nailed the inks and delivered linework right in the same vein as Joe Sinnott and Frank Giacoia. Wonderful pick-up, Dino, Congrats!
