DescriptionRussell Keaton Skyroads #246 Daily Comic Strip Original Art (John F. Dille Co., 1935). Airborne-themed strips proliferated in the comics strip landscape of the Depression years (see also Tailspin Tommy and Smilin' Jack), and Keaton's work on Skyroads featured some of the genre's best art. The backup feature, Wing Tips (the final panel), has a pated on logo stat. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an approximate image area of 20" x 5.5".
