Original Art - Ken Kelly (American, * May 19th, 1946, † June 2, 2022).

Given I cannot have the Frazetta artwork, I believe this Kelly recreation gives some justice to the original painting.

This Frazetta homage was done by Ken Kelly in 2016. The piece is a recreation of the original Frazetta artwork for the front cover of the 1970 Doubleday edition of A Princess of Mars, featuring Edgar Rice Burroughs' John Carter.

Oil on canvas with an image area of 18 x 24 in. Signed by the artist.

not many artists can recreate/homage Frazetta and do it in a way that pays tribute while showcasing a little of their own style as well. great job by Ken Kelly who did just that!
