From Greg Capullo's very first issue of Spawn! This is the first issue that Todd McFarlane didn't (in some way) work on, and would lead to Capullo becoming regular series artist less than a year later. Nice semi-splash page of the first Simmonsville scene where supervillain Jason Wynn schemes with a military general on how to harness its hellish power. Ink over graphite on Image Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Slight toning, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout touch-ups, and light handling wear. In Excellent condition.
