Description

Accompanying my commission of Chris Kohler's recreation of Jack Davis' splash page from the story "Cold Cuts" in Shock SuspenStories #5, I also got a sketch from Kohler of that story's victim Helen Benson, extrapolating from the original image for a "living" depiction of her.

Something like this is above and beyond. Kohler might have done this to get a feel of the character before recreating the story and then finished it up after. Either way, it's a neat bonus piece showing the elegance of the original design and Kohler's own expertise!
