Description

This lot includes two original storyboards featuring illustrations from the opening title screen sequence of Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace (Game Boy Advance), serving as the very first images players saw when starting the game. The first chronological panel captures Hammerhead in a moment of menace, flashing a wicked grin with a cigar in hand -- just before he and his goons unleash chaos on a helpless crowd. But the tide is about to turn -- enter Spider-Man! Image of Hammerhead is also featured in other promotional material, including advertising in Nintendo Power for the game! Crafted in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with image areas of 5" x 9". Minor spot staining in top margin, whiteout touch-ups, minor smudging, and light handling wear. Signed by Aiken in the top right corner of the first storyboard. In Excellent condition.

Great filmstrip style! The Hammerhead dressed his best for his big moment! Very clean and rigid standards when art is used for commercial purposes.
