Illustrated adventure by Newton in this strip that ran in RBCC for a few years before he broke into the big leagues! This showed he was ready with a storytelling sophistication far to great to remain in fanzines.

It’s always fascinating to see early work from artists before they broke into the industry, and Don Newton’s talent was already shining through here. The Sunday strip format gives it a classic storytelling feel, and knowing this predates his professional comic book career makes it even more special. A great glimpse into the evolution of an incredible artist!
