Description

I get such a kick out of Richard Guindon's understated drawing and humor. I'll state up front that no scan can do justice to a Guindon original. The line work is so subtle. Even how Guindon connected or disconnected lines is hard to pick up. This panel appeared in print on November 27, 1977, and features a man telling a woman who is seated on a park bench to, "Either light up or get out of the smoking section." The design elements in the piece are lovely, especially that sweet tree in the background, almost acting like stained glass in the space.
