IC3 Pre-Show Commission!!!

I descended on New Haven, CT for the second annual Indie Comics Creator Con to check out a ton of indie comics and their creators! And of course I couldn't pass up the chance to get some Stingray commissions!

Jeremy decided to reimagine a version of the classic Iron Man #226 where Stingray got the upper hand on Iron Man! Or, in this case, the upper foot! BOOT TO THE HEAD! I love the vibrant colors and the sheer number of elements in the background of the piece. So much coral and a couple of sharks for good measure! But what really makes this piece feel frenetic are the great, hand-drawn blur effect on the Stingray's right leg and Iron Man's head and arms! You can tell that Tony is all shook up as he's getting beat down!

Sting Ray IC3D out with bling! Iron Man has no chance underwater. Hyler is one to watch with talent that's strapped to a rocket!

Underwater stomping party! This is a fabulous concept and the colors bring it to life. Great execution from Jeremy and another unique addition to the fever. How long before he starts to rust down there?
