DescriptionSpinner Rack goodness!Jimmy Olsen raps with his gal-pal Chrissie Walker. I always remembered this issue, because it really highlighted the difference between DC's Pre-Crisis history and these newly established Post-Crisis stories and how they differed. I remember showing my Dad this issue and him saying, "Superman gave Jimmy his signal watch, he didn't make it himself!" (Referring to Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #36) However, in the Post-Crisis history, Jimmy invents the Signal-Watch on the fly, to save his gal-pal Chrissie and Superman is so impressed, he lets him keep it! I'm just surprised to see Win Mortimer still working. You'd think Crisis was also DC's great purge of old talent. This series was the last Mortimer superhero story.

I love this page because if its human element. Chrissie obviously has some deep issues going on in her life and like most teens in that situation, keeps it all bottled up. Thankfully Jimmy is a good friend to her and makes her feel like he might be someone she can confide in. Nice page.

Hmmm. This came out in 88. Wonder what Eastwood movie was out then. Quick google. Ohhhh... Dead Pool. Talk about a pre crisis.
