Description

One of the four debut 2099 titles Marvel released in 1992 alongside Spider-Man 2099, Punisher 2099 and Doom 2099, and the first original character in the line.

Ravage was an all-new character created by Stan Lee and artist Paul Ryan for the Marvel 2099 line created by Stan Lee and John Byrne. Byrne was originally set to pencil Ravage 2099. Creative differences with Stan Lee forced a change. Steve Ditko met with Stan Lee on the project in what would have been a historic re-teaming but disagreed with the philosophical underpinnings of the story.

1st appearance of Paul-Phillip Ravage. This issue featured a gold foil cover.

Signed by Paul Ryan and Stan Lee in the UPC box. Comes with an acetate overlay.

If you already had the Punisher 2099 as your street level guy in this line, Ravage had to have his own hook. Indeed he did with getting powers through mutation!
