Transformers UK #151 p.11

"The Legacy of Unicron" Part 6! The UK comics tackled stories and characters that the US comics didn't cover. The events taking place after Transformers the Movie were covered on the Season Three Sunbow cartoons, but the US comics mostly ignored that future timeline for the Transformers. However, UK comics tackled their own version of sequel in "The Legacy of Unicron"! The charges detonate and destroy Unicron's head on the physical plane, while Rodimus Prime has contained the evil essence of Unicron within the Creation Matrix! The Postscipt shows that Cyclonus and Scourge traveled back to Cybertron's far past, only to join up with the Decepticon Headmaster Commander, Scorponok! This would explain to UK readers (who were familiar with Cyclonus and Scourge in the post-movie comics) why Cyclonus and Scourge showed up as Targetmasters in the US Headmasters limited series (which was published/reprinted about 20 issues earlier in the UK run) and closed their time-loop for good. While this would be Death's Head's last foray in the Transformers Comics, he would go on to appear in Doctor Who comics and eventually the Marvel Universe proper, getting his own title!
