Description

Jon Thurmond kindly sold and parted with 2 of his SL Gallant original pencil pages. I never thought I’d ever have one of these so jumped at the chance. I loved Gallant’s work on ARAH and related Joe titles. Here we have a fun meta scene as a hooded Cobra Commande, Destro, and Dr Mindbender show Snake Eyes a panorama of the battle of Springfield with many of my favorites shown like Scarlett and Snake Eyes. How fun to get a glimpse into a cobra museum?

Nice fakeout panel 1! Early on in the IDW revival and Hama found the go to guy in Gallant who would be one of the most prominent Joe artists of this run!
