This is a really old prelim sketch by James Jean for a piece called "Black Rock Shooter" that he created back in 2010. Strangely this piece also goes by the name: "Be Ar Ess". Sometimes in prelim sketches by artists, you might get some extra artwork behind the piece - shown in the 2nd pic. It's kind of cool to see Jame's thinking process as he works through different design concepts before choosing his final sketch.
