DescriptionI picked this up while visiting Anthony Synder's warehouse to get my shadow piece. I purchased the Justice Society illustration he did and couldn't pass up this great pin up of earth's mightiest heroes. This piece reminds me of the Avengers 100 cover, as cap leads the charge of past and present teams. Merino is known for his work on the JSA title and superman books. it is in pen and ink and measures 11x17.Social/Sharing |

An outstanding Avengers piece! Is it something he did on spec, or is it published?

no it's just a pin up. I have the JSA on he did also both are outstanding.

So great with Cap lifting the shield to the center of the compositon as the rallying cry to bring the team together. All star team of the Avengers!

amazing Avengers illustration, so many characters with really cool poses blending together for a poster style or milestone cover style piece, love it!
