Monstress by Nathan Stockman

I am a huge fan of Nate Stockman, and I am a huge fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes. So, when Nate started posting these Legionnaire drawings using his more animated style, I loved them all. And not long after messaging him about them, a deal was struck where I would purchase them all! I received the original black and white art along with a digital file of the colored version. This one features one of the kindest and most fun of the Reboot Legionnaires - Candi Pyponte-Le Parc III aka Monstress! Candi lived a life of privilege until she learned how cruel her father was and she was mutated by a gene bomb. Shunned by many, Candi joined the Uncanny Amazers so that she could do good and help others with her new strength and invulnerability. Candi eventually joined the Legion of Super-Heroes and became a valued member, both as a superhero and as a friend to many of her teammates. Candi and Element Lad developed a close relationship which ended in tragedy when Element Lad went insane and murdered her. Poor Monstress. Nate did a great job here depicting Candi. She looks like a happy powerhouse, which is exactly what she was.
