Description

Jared Cullum is one heck of an artist- painter. He posts a variety of paintings such as scenic landscapes, suburban pic, comic heroes, his own creations (Kodi) what a great read, and portraits.

All of us get caught up when a variety of striking art appears by an artist. Jared had been posting oversize Popeye paintings- they were mind blowing. He needs to do a graphic novel with Popeye. He captures the feel of the character so well.

Jared opened up his commission list and i signed up.

The colors in this painting capture the primary color feel that is so classic of the Sunday comic book pages. The setting of Popeye and Bluto is ready for the fist a cuffs to start.

Nice stuff.

The watercolors reminds us of the original Popeye cartoons of the Fleischer studios with quality animatiopn that hasn't been matched since.
