Korak goes looking for the Diamond Tusked Elephant and find that it is the protector of a tribe, slaying giant locusts.

Back in 1974, post implosion, DC combined several features into giant sized issues: Batman Family, Superman Family, Super-Team Family and Tarzan Family. I was drawn to the Superman and Tarzan issues and was happy to pick up a page one of the Tarzan Family issues.

Drawn by James Sherman, known for his stellar work on Legion of Super-Heroes and inked by another of the Filipino artists that DC employed during this time period, Noly Zamora.

Noly Zamora is known for his work on 'Weird War Tales', 'Secrets of Haunted House', 'Korak', 'Rima the Jungle Girl' and 'John Carter of Mars' for DC

I see chief of dreams
Dread Locust too
James Sherman boom
Noly and you
And I ink to myself
A Zamora filled world

I see style so cool
And hoards of tribe
The bright blessed page
The art Korak fights
Elephants to myself
What a wonderful world

The diamond tusks of Dumbo
So pretty in the line
Are also on the pages
Of evil taking flight
I see friends read Tarzans
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really slaying
All bugs too

that's one badass elephant! might be the first time I've seen an example of Noly's inking myself, very nice work!
