Description

Adam Gorham caught my attention from his work on Darth Vader, I had missed New Mutants Dead Souls when it appeared in 2018. I've since caught up, reading it on Marvel Unlimited.

Xi'an sends Danielle Moonstar to investigate an incident in Connecticut, suspecting her brother Tran might be involved after his recent connection to a series of supernatural events across the globe. At first glance, everything seems normal -- until Danielle discovers and inhales a strange ash. Adam uses ink, crayon, and white paint to accomplish the finished art over his printed blue line pencils.

Who my age didn't love Dani and her fellow New Mutants? Probably you DC folk. That's alright. I forgive you.

Adam's one of my personal fav newer-ish names/artistic voices over the last 5 or so years with his body of work from Star Wars/Vader, to Godzilla, to New Mutants and more! Nice addition, Dani looks great!
