DescriptionOriginal Art Page to Bugs Bunny #3, which was published by DC Comics in 1990. This is Pg. 16 from the issue, and is a fantastic page, featuring some outstanding large splashy panels with great images of Bugs, Daffy Duck, Witch Hazel, Porky Pig, and Speedy Gonzalez throughout the page. It includes Daffy in every single panel on the page, as he grabs up all the Elmer Fudd statues! The piece measures approximately 11 1/2" by 16 1/2", and is on official D.C. Comics art board. Please note that this page has pasted-on photostat art corrections. Usually when they do this, it is done to make slight changes either to the look or positioning, and is pasted over the original art underneath, but we do not want to try lifting the pieces up to look, so we just wanted to make you aware of this. You may be able to see in the scan that the Bugs and Speedy figures in the first panel, the Porky head and Daffy face bill in panel 2, and the Daffy face in the last panel are all pasted photostats. This is an outstanding rare piece of Warner Brothers magic, and a magnificent example to own featuring some of their most famous and most recognizable Looney Toons characters, who are the most key and beloved figures in WB history.Social/Sharing |
