CLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11-5/8x16.5" DC Comics artboard features pen and ink original art w/screentone accents for cover to Superman: The Man Of Steel Sourcebook (second edition), part of the DC Heroes RPG published by Mayfair Games Inc. in Jan. 1992. Art is by fan-favorite Superman artist Dan Jurgens w/inks by frequent collaborator Brett Breeding. Cover show Superman flying w/large American flag in hand, guiding three stealth bombers through the sky as explosions go off around them. Jurgens and Breeding's name have been written below Superman image. Some of the star on the flag are pasted stats, some of which have aged. Top, right and bottom margins have been taped off w/white tape, leaving only DC logo at top left corner. This white tape wraps around onto back of artboard, which has inkstamped printer job w/inked details and partial outline of two stealth bombers in red ink. Aside from some minor aging to one stealth bomber image, art remains clean and Exc.
