DescriptionBig fan of old Ian Churchill… and his Uncanny stuff is not to easy to come by… so when I saw this fun page pop on Facebook I had to grab it.. no battles here but a fun interaction between Nightcrawler , Iceman and Chamber . I love the third panel of Nightcrawler.. I think it is a great example of everything I liked about Ian in this time frame and Rapmund did a fantastic job bring it to life!Social/Sharing |

Spiky hair and cactus like power bursts made Ian Churchill's art so different back then! Rapmund sure had a lot of fine inking to do. It outduels the EVS look of prickliness and we all know how prickly his art can be.

Fabulous Uncanny X-Men page by Ian Churchill and Norm Rapmund! Cool interactions between Iceman, Nightcrawler and Chamber. Love the way Ian and Norm portrayed Chamber's power with the little sparkles that pour out of him constantly. But of course, the killer panel is that third one, with the tight closeup of Nightcrawler rendered so vividly. Powerfully inked with strong use of blacks by Norm Raymund. Stellar pick-up, congrats!
