DescriptionMISTER X #3 - Cover Rough 4Color pencil and marker rough circa 1983, one of a series, mounted on 6 x 9" illustration board. As the creator of many of the MISTER X posters and covers for the 1980s comic book, in the pre-digital age circa 1983 I was in the habit of creating many roughs and color sketches in the process of working out the final image. This was to experiment and be fully confident that the composition, color, and overall design was working well before going to all the work of making the full airbrush illustration. This is one of them. NOTE: the image on the right showing the final cover is only for demonstration, the sale is for the left side only (the rough drawing). Social/Sharing |
