DescriptionI chased after this Longshot series whenever I went into a comic store as a young lad. The art blew me away back then in 1985...and it still does today.This page has 1st appearances of 4 characters: 1st Longshot 1st Spiral (she is named in the top panel...with a great image of her) 1st Gog (villain) 1st MaGog (son of Gog and supporter of Longshot) As much as we all love Longshot, I have always been mesmerized by Spiral. Love the poetry and majesty of her character. Just as important, this is the first published comic artwork of Art Adams. A prime example of Art's wonderful styling. As a bonus, this might be one of the pages inked by Whilce Portacio. Mahalo to James S for helping me trade up to this page. Social/Sharing |
