Galactically historic first app of Boba Fett from the June 22nd, 1980 Newspaper Comic Strip.

This came out one month after the Empire Strikes Back movie was released on May 21, 1980....and...three months before Marvel's Star Wars #42 comic was released Sep 23, 1980.

Drawn by Russ Manning on larger art board 18 x 24.

And, unlike the Star Wars #42 comic, it is an original story...not just a retelling of the ESB movie.

The middle panel of the center is where Luke meets Boba for the very first time, and they have to form an uneasy alliance to fight off the local attackers.

I love owning a piece of history, and this one is out of this world!!!

Just like when Star Wars #1 came out a month before the movie, this strip joins the Star Wars Holiday Special to reveal the mysterious Boba Fett before ESB!
