DescriptionThis is a recent get, and I am so happy to have gotten it!!The Insidious Six were created/introduced in the same issue as my boy Rek-Rap (Amazing Spider-Man vol 6 #17). The team consists of six demons from Limbo who were transformed into nightmarish (yet somehow kinda cute) versions of the Sinister Six. They are DOCTOR OCTOBALL, The GRAVE GOBLIN, RHICERATOPS, KRAKEN THE HUNTER, LIZZARO and The GOREPION! And on this glorious cover, Spidey is battling five of them. Rhiceratops is missing, though he might just be 'off camera.' Or maybe off getting coffee for the rest of his team. Here is a link to their first appearance splash from ASM vol 6 #17: 1st app Insidious Six Social/Sharing |

RHICERATOPS! It might just be my favorite over the top villain name ever. The character names (heroes & villains alike) that came out in this run, were my favorite part of the read. Followed closely by the mashed up Limbo-tomized character designs produced by McGuinness & company. Fun stuff, congrats!

another fantastic McGuiness ASM page, and the first cover appearance of the Insidious Six no less!!?? wow! If you didn't also already have their first interior appearance in the previous issue I'd be praying to the comic art gods for you to eventually end up with it, but because you already have it I'll just go make some tea and chill out instead. congrats on another awesome ASM cover Paul!

Haha I appreciate your willingness to go to bat for me with the comic art gods. They can be a surly lot. But yeah, no need to engage with them this time. Go enjoy some tea and relaxation. And thank you for the comments on this cover and also my 1st appearance Insidious Six splash!

These guys were so over the top and fun. Congrats on a great cover with the The Insidious Six coming after Spidey.

Wild storyline with Spidey up against it! He'll probably need Rek-Rap to help out before long! McGuinness and Rathburn taking Spidey stories to another level with bold power moves on display!

Beautiful McGuinness art and Rathburn deserves props as well, because he does an amazing job on Ed's pencils. Congrats on getting this one, it definitely landed in the right collection!

I love the way Spidey pops out even amidst all the details.

This is a great cover by McGuinness - I love the exaggerated expressions on the villains contrasting with a super clean Spidey. Very cool.

Killer cover image respresenting the fun and wild wackiness of this ASM run! And our titular here of course as the centerpiece, dynamically drawn by McG. Congrats!
