Wolverine Sketch Card - Manix

Here is a pickup I made from a fundraiser for Zyla back in the day. Zyla, the daughter of Dan Parsons, had been battling cancer when I picked this piece up. I recently heard that she is doing much better and was happy to help from time to time.

I got to meet Dan Parsons with my two youngest daughters, at a Lodi comic convention, a few years back. We had a great time chatting with him. It's always nice to see art collectors and artists supporting causes that effect the art community.

Now to the piece at hand.

This happened to be my first Manix piece, which led me to acquiring a Guardians of the Galaxy commission from him last year. I absolutely love Manix art, and this was a perfect starter piece for me.

I took "Pfft" as a fart sound and hope I am not missing something. As the son of a Canadian and as someone who battles the daily effects of lactose intolerance denial, this card connects with me lol. Wolverine Fart card... Priceless!
