DescriptionDuring the events of Amazing Spider-Man v6 #50-54, Rek-Rap was impaled by the Green Goblin's glider. He seemed to be okay as the story concluded, but Ed McGuinness and the editors over at Marvel decided to give us a delightful three-page story in Amazing Spider-Man v6 #60 to tie up that loose end. Here are pages 1 and 2 of that story, where Spidey is seen speaking to a doctor who seems to think that the 'patient' he has just treated might be a rescue animal or a pet of Peter's. But you know better, right? Who is it? You're GIGGLY GOB DARN RIGHT that it's the goofy, loveable REK-RAP! And look, he's still got the glider! The doctor isn't so sure that Rek-Rap should be playing with the device that injured him in the first place, but Rek-Rap bit him when he tried to take it away from him, and Spidey says it's fine ... so ... off Rek-Rap goes into the wild blue yonder!! Here is the next page to the story: page 3 Social/Sharing |

I think Spidey needs a psychiatrist after another encounter with Rek-Rap!

Ah, great to see that loveable rapscalion again! Each page gives you a nice image of the respective wall crawlers, which is nice, and the McGuinness/Farmer team is looking better than ever!

So glad to see Rek-Rap back safe and sound! A hilarious set of half splashes, the comedic throughline of Spidey adopting him as a rescue or vice versa gave me a nice chuckle.

It's really cool how the sequential pages are almost carnival mirror images of each other. Let the mind games begin!
