Description

During the events of Amazing Spider-Man v6 #50-54, Rek-Rap was impaled by the Green Goblin's glider. He seemed to be okay as the story concluded, but Ed McGuinness and the editors over at Marvel decided to give us a delightful three-page story in Amazing Spider-Man v6 #60 to tie up that loose end.

Here is page 3 of that story, where a fully recovered Rek-Rap soars off into the world on his new glider!! And really, can you blame the doctor for thinking he was Spidey's pet back on page 1 of this story? I mean, look at him! He's Spider-Doggy!

"THE WEB WHANGING REK-RAP IS HERE TO STAY!" (note the asterisk leading to a footnote that says ""Sorry Joe, now you HAVE to to use him -- Zeb & Ed.")

YAAAYYYY!!! Rek-Rap shall return !!!

And ... Spidey gets stuck with a $3,000 doctor's bill. Ya gotta love that ol' Parker luck.

I'm going to guess that they're giving him accessories because there will be a big action figure line push with Rek-Rap! Good thing Spider-Man has Obama Care.

Only $3k!? Worth every penny. Good luck to the next set of writers and artists, how they will top the already tremendous Rek-Rap canon is beyond me. But what a banger of a full splash page to leave us salivating for more!
