Description
The Angela limited series is one of my be-all, end-all favorite 90's books, as it fleshed out one of my favorite characters: Angela. Aside from the insane detail and action by Greg Capullo, it's written by Neil Gaiman - who, in his usual mastery of his medium - crafts an interesting story and really fun dialogue. I'd always wanted a page from this series, but Capullo stuff is in the stratosphere (rightfully so) - so when this one turned up on Greg's site, I jumped on it quickly.

Granted, it does not feature Angela - but her two friends, Anahita and Saranyu. They embark on bringing Spawn back to Heaven to be a witness at Angela's trial, but not before they smack him around a bit and show him who's the boss. The page has great dialogue, cool panel breaks, fun perspective and the signature detail of Greg Capullo!

With Spawn at the top of the sales chart, everyone knew this miniseries was a must have.  Powered by the top writer of the time period with the artist of Spawn, you didn't even need to read it to know it was the hot book of the month!

Now that's a page I can get behind!
