DescriptionWhen I signed up for a sketch covers commission by Godtail at the Tokyo Comicon, I wanted to keep it open-ended and not too specific: “Angela from Spawn, bloody and violent, if possible". It looks as if Godtail was inspired by the Death of Angela from issue #100 - which this art turned out about as bloody and violent as it can get!Bloody, brutal and violent might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I love everything about it: the perspective, the story behind the image, the horror-esque feel of it (he's known to draw some violent and bloody stuff) and that it's a unique composition. I’m looking forward to hopefully doing another Godtail commission again. Social/Sharing |

Stretched across the wraparound cover, this looks more like Angela got butchered on Godtail's operating table in the movie Hostel with predictably gory results.
