DescriptionOne of my favourite parts of Fantasy Basel is the incredibly vibrant independent side of the artist alley, where I discover a true gem or two each year. This year I discovered the Spanish artist AlexMada. He creates wonderful fantasy / gothic [with a touch of horror] illustrations, some of which you can see on his Instagram. I believe he is about to be published for the first time.This piece, called "Utopias Remain in the Past", immediately caught my eye while I was browsing his portfolio! Social/Sharing |

That's one large jawline. It doesn't look like a firendly place to visit though.
