This is the original cover painting for the historical romance novel by Anne Melville, published by Piatkus Publishing, 1994 (I show the published cover for reference) She's definitely a beauty in "wraparound" landscape format painted in acrylic and gouache on illustration board, 11.5" x 16.25" and comes with a label attesting to its authenticity signed by Pether's widow, mounted to the back.
