Description(Caption in pencil: They really do taste minty!) At the time I compared the Smurfs to what I grew up with and I saw them as a sign of the downfall of all TV cartoons, maybe even the apocalypse. Never watched an episode, maybe it was deep, "tied to the bottom with a noose around my feet". Huge fan of Vince Locke's work going back to Dead World and on early issues of Guy Davis' Baker Street. He seemed like the perfect artist to create something to express my "strong" feelings about the Smurfs. Mostly just thought it was funny. I just asked for a zombie eating smurfs and voilà!Social/Sharing |
