X-MEN The Animated Series - Ms Marvel vs Jean Grey

From X-MEN The Animated Series - A ROGUE’S TALE (season 2 episode 9 - premiering January 8th 1994) comes this animation cel featuring Ms Marvel versus Jean Grey.

This was one of the best episodes from the series and happy to have another piece of this history (to go along with my Rogue and Mystique animation cel). The cel has a piece of the fight between the very memorable Jean Grey played by Catherine Disher and Ms Marvel played by Roscoe Handford (who only worked on this single episode). At this point in the episode, Jean goes inside Rogue’s mind to help her fight the escaped Ms Marvel psyche who has broken out of her mental cage, leaving Rogue with a dual personality problem.

The fight scene in Rogue’s mind is very colorful and fun, since in the mindscape anything can happen. It’s a rough battle and this cel features the ferocity of it really well, especially with this tormented monstrous Ms Marvel. I believe this cel is a cut frame from one of the shots.
