This Roi Mercado Red Sonja piece doesn’t just depict a warrior — it choreographs her. A triptych of presence: center stage, she stands firm, wrapped in furs and chainmail, armed with sword and axe. To the right, calm and composed, a watchful hunter. And below, bloodied, braced, yet still rising.

There’s no single pose that defines Sonja — and Roi nails that. Each movement here speaks to a different part of her mythos: the readiness, the restraint, the resilience.
