What a killer take on Dark Phoenix—those glowing eyes and the framing of the hands feel hypnotic. The restrained palette makes the heat underneath even more unsettling. McKone absolutely nailed the menace and control in the same breath.
Absolutely stunning. The motion in the flames, the glow cutting across her costume, and that wind-swept hair all pull you straight into the moment. The color work is unreal—those warm yellows and reds against the cooler blues make the whole piece vibrate with energy. Ellery Santos crushed this.
