Description
1956 was an election year and once again Pogo found his hat tossed into the ring without asking. Love the Deacon's grasp of practical politics. PT and Deacon in one strip makes for a real lettering workout!

PS: I'm sure the Canadians would go for Pogo as US president, given the various alternatives.
