Description

One of two companion pencil sketches by the phenomenal Loish, this piece captures that unmistakable wide-eyed intensity she does so well. Soft, expressive, and just stylized enough to feel like a character caught mid-thought.

The pencil work is light but confident — every line serves a purpose. There’s something quietly fierce in this stare, even as the subject remains still and uncertain. It’s that Loish balance between vulnerability and strength that keeps pulling you back in.

This is Study in Stare, the first in a set of two.
